Pomodori is made by Quiet Intelligence LLC. The short version: your routines, sessions and stats stay on your devices and in your own iCloud. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking.
What stays on your device
- Your routines, step names, focus sessions, tags, stats, achievements and settings are stored on your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
- If iCloud is on for Pomodori, Apple syncs that data through your private iCloud database. We can't see it.
- Notifications, calendar events you schedule, and Siri and Shortcuts requests are handled by iOS on your device. Calendar access is only requested if you schedule a session.
The one thing that leaves your phone
To keep the Lock Screen countdown moving while your phone is locked, Pomodori sends our server (push.quietintelligence.app, hosted by Cloudflare) a Live Activity push token issued by Apple, along with the start and end times and step numbers of your upcoming steps. It does not include step names, your routine's name, or anything that identifies you.
The server uses this only to send those Lock Screen updates through Apple's push notification service. It is deleted when your routine ends, or when you pause or reset it.
Purchases
Pomodori Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment. We never see your payment details or your Apple ID.
Music links
If you add study or break playlists, Pomodori opens them in Spotify or Apple Music. Nothing is shared with us by those apps.
Children
Pomodori does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
